Leigh Jim you obvioulsy have some personal attachment to Noble...relative, lover mayvbe? Because all you retort to is abusing people on here who have a different opinion to you.

That does mug you off slightly.

Do you even know where Leigh on sea is?

Silly old tart

Jim,

I don't know where you've got this idea about my age from but put it this way, I'm about 30 years younger than you need to be to live in Leigh.

Re: What no Noble thread??
Noble was absolute dogshit yesterday, apart from the goal. He looked like he was spaced out.

Aren't you about 120?

In all fairness you won't see much from the disabled section at pitch level

Re: What no Noble thread??
I go to every game, as do most people I go with and none of them think Noble is a very good player for us.

Re: What no Noble thread??
Leigh Jim you obviously can't read a game as you can't read period. Where did I say I don't like Noble. I said he's an average player who shouldn't first pick. How many top clubs have made an offer on him?

As for going to the games. I did my stint frol 78- 87 home and away when real men supported this club not fucking wimpy post 96 ers like you.

Re: What no Noble thread??
That's the problem "our level"
If we are happy with "our level" then we might as well stick with Allardyce, he will keep us up after all. Is that our level? Isn't Nolan our level, he has been our top scorer for the last two seasons.

Get a manager in that can attract better players, to take us to a higher level. A higher level would mean seeing Noble dropped to the bench must weeks, Nolan sold to a team like Leicester or Burnley. O'Brien and Cole given free transfers and would probably end up in the championship at best (If anyone could afford their wages)

Re: What no Noble thread??
Is that his fault?

cm7906464 1:44 Sun Aug 31
Re: What no Noble thread??
I doubt he would take set pieces anywhere else.

Re: What no Noble thread??
Swiss and Rodfarts - who don't go to games and act like massive cunts on the match threads - don't like noble

Those that do go to games, appreciate the work he does on and off the ball and appreciate he is very much our level

Re: What no Noble thread??
There seems to be a split on here in regards to Noble.

Let me clear things up for everyone.

He is an average premiership player who will have some good games and some bad games. Which means he is probably suited to a club like ours.

He is not good enough to play for England or any of the big 6 premiership clubs (Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool & Spurs)

He is good enough to play for anyone outside those top 6 including Everton and I would imagine a lot of clubs would be happy to have him.

wrighty 1:41 Sun Aug 31
Re: What no Noble thread??
wrighty - he sees more of the ball than anyone else and therefore it is right to see an end result. set pieces have been piss poor - the floating free kicks are comical - we just rely upon a hopeful flick from reid or tomkins.

You do realise they work on those every day? If the manager had an issue then he is in a reasonable position to rectify it.

Rivs
Good ball players also create the opportunities for movement to be made and don't just rely on it to happen, at this level it is often too late by the time you see it so you have to anticipate more often than not.
Noble simply cannot see the game and release the ball forward if under any pressure and that is difference between an average player and a good one at this level.
The reason Noble gets picked by all those managers is that average has generally been good enough for West Ham in that time, which is probably is the reason Carlton Cole has also been picked over the years too.

it is 100% the fault of bfs - he is instructing noble what to do. noble has to cover alot of the pitch and yesterday he got picked off just outside our box.

Re: What no Noble thread??
Almost everyone on here was wanking themselves off on here after the Palace game over Noble. Now he didn't have Nolan shackling him he was the palyer he could and should be. Yesterday kicked thta right into touch. He's an average player who should be in the squad and not a starter. Song should be first choice.

Hermit Road 1:30 Sun Aug 31
Re: What no Noble thread??
Fair play, he had a shot, a poorly struck shot that got a nice deflection but if you don't shoot, you can't score I suppose.

cm7906464 1:29 Sun Aug 31
Re: What no Noble thread??
would probably mean more goals on set-pieces in all honestly. His corners and free-kicks are poor.
